Founded in 1983 and incorporated in 2011, GAMMA Photos is a worldwide group of photographers with a single shared mission ... to record the world as it appears to them for the benefit of future generations. The new website of GAMMA Photos went live today! Much slicker and cleaner than the previous site, it will be developed to include profiles of our worldwide Accredited Photographers and showcase their work.
Photographers with GAMMA Photos are not simply passive bystanders to life, they are an active element of the social landscape in which they create their images. Each has an ability to see human life at its most personal and most intimate. The GAMMA photographers do not seek out major events or well-known personalities, nor do they seek to create necessarily commercial images; they look for the commonplace, the local, the vernacular and the distinctive.
