Join GAMMA

Applications to join GAMMA Photos as an Accredited Photographer are welcomed from all photographers - whether amateur or professional - who share the mission and ideals of the group and are willing to contribute to its future success.  

 

The annual cost of being an Accredited Photographer with GAMMA Photos is kept to a minimum so that cost is not a barrier to participating in the work of the group.  

The annual fee is US$60 (GB£50 / EURO€50) and this is used to cover administrative costs, marketing, publications and maintaining the archive of GAMMA Photos.

 

To apply to become an Accredited Photographer of GAMMA Photos you will need to send (electronically) a portfolio of twenty photographs, a brief statement (between 200-300 words in English) which describes your photographic ambitions, a completed application form and an application fee which, if successful will also cover your first year of membership.  

 

You can apply to join GAMMA Photos at any time but the Assessment Panel meets in London, Dublin, Paris or New York four times a year - in February, May, August and November.  You will be notified, by email, of the result within 14 days from the date of the Assessment Panel.   Successful applicants will receive their membership certificate and GAMMA Photos "Accredited Photographer" card within 28 days.
